If you remember this post last week you will remember I barely made it out of the grocery store in one piece. Tears still swell up in my eyes when I think about that day.
Just wanted to let you all know that all grocery store days are not that bad. This week I did have to go with 2 kids (I actually pulled it together enough to make it to the store before we dropped Miller off at school), but we went to a grocery store that was much less crowded and went with a very stern warning from Daddy.I know from these pictures it does not look like I have a lot of control over my children and the pictures make it look like this could be a very stressful grocery store trip, but they were actually very obedient and came to me right when I called them. So, who can blame them for having a little fun while being dragged along on the worst errand ever (lets just be honest, who really likes being dragged to the grocery???)?
According to the artistic interpretation of Miller, it was a "Happy Crab" kind of a day!
Although one scared little turtle did make it into the drawing.
I really don't know what to make of that.
I will try not to read too much into the drawing of a 4 year old.
This was definitely a much needed break from last week! Just a small reminder that God's mercies are new every morning!
