September, how did you arrive so fast???
At the beginning of the summer I could not imagine what it was going to be like having Ella in the first grade (last year she went to a half day kindergarten program so this is her first year in "all day" school).
Even three weeks ago I was getting very depressed that summer was over
and Ella would be leaving us.
Ella has now been in school 2 weeks and the transition has been better than I ever imagined. I thought Ella would like her new school, but I did not know how much she would love it.
As different as it is around the house without Ella around, Sara Wells and Miller are falling into new roles.
"I'm the King of the Tube"
And it has been really good for them.
This new phase of life just seems right.
This week Miller and Sara Wells start back to school.
So, we took the last few days of summer and played hard before the busyness of the fall really sets in.
Supposedly they were trying to keep Miller from falling...
I don't know, to me it looks like a push than a save...
From our happy first grader,
Hope you had a great Labor Day!
Great pictures....fun days!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Ella is doing well -- what a blessed relief for you and Murray!!
