Trip to the Zoo

Ella's class took a field trip to the zoo last week.  I am trying to soak up all these fun memories because I know once Ella starts kindergarten I probably will not be able to go with her on all her field trips.  And even more sad, she may not want me to go.  It was so much fun to watch Ella run around with all her friends from school.  Ella has known most of her friends in her class for a long time either from previous years or from church.  It was so fun to watch these kids who I have known since they were babies run around and be so independent and grown up.  The class favorite was the llama.  He definitely got very worked up with all the little kids running around trying to pet him and screaming.  I have never seen a llama run around or come up on his hind legs, but we saw it.  We had to leave the petting zoo because Mr. Llama got a little too excited.  

Ella either loves to ham it up for the camera or will not let me take a picture.  This day she would not let me take a picture, so this is the best I could do.  I finally just put the camera away because all I was getting was a turned head.  Oh well, there will be other trips to the zoo.
